Liezl Martinez passed away on the morning of March 14, 2015. She battled with cancer since 2007. Her mother, Amalia Fuentes could not contain the pain of seeing her only daughter die. Something that any parent could not take, that's why Amalia was out of control after the cremation of Liezl at Arlington Memorial Chapels. She spoke to the press and voiced out her sentiments and hurt over the past few days especially about what happened during the cremation ceremony. The host failed to mention her name and did not acknowledge her being the mother of Liezl. Amalia felt she was shut off from her daughter's life.
